The Certified General Accountants of Ontario have a cool online accounting contest for you to check out...and win some money!
You need to sign up at http://cga-ontario.org and choose your level of difficulty - you have to log on by 3pm! The contest begins at 4pm!
Got that? Register by 3pm, compete starting at 4pm.
SO - you can choose between basic and intermediate level and there are 100 multiple choice financial accounting questions.
For Basic:
1st place gets you $4,000 cash and $5,000 scholarship towards a CGA program of studies.
2nd place - $2,000 cash and $5,000 scholarship (same as above).
3rd place - $1,000 cash and the scholarship (same as above).
Intermediate:
1st place - $5,000 cash and $5,000 scholarship (same as above).
2nd - $3,000 cash and scholarship (same as above).
3rd - $1,500 cash and scholarship (same as above).
ALSO - $100 and a scholarship worth $1,000 is granted to the winning student from each institution that has students registered.
